Applesauce
Unsweetened applesauce is good when trying to sneak in extra fruits into family dishes. I add applesauce to pancakes, brownies, and tomato based sauces.
Most of the time, people do not even notice applesauce has been added. Applesauce can provide a texture and body that purely heightens the dish. Applesauce is also good by itself, or with a little cinnamon added.
