Many people have heard that if you eat an apple a day it keeps the doctor away. Perhaps this is an expression of how we should all eat more fruits. Apples come in many different varieties, some are sweeter, some are sour, and some are crisper. Apples provide excellent nutrients and fiber. You can add apples to salads, eat them straight off the tree, or even cook them into a tasty side dish.

Cooked Apples

Ingredients
2 medium apples
Splenda
Cinnamon
I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter spray

Directions
Slice apples into thin slices.
Place apples in medium size bowl.
Spray ICBINB spray until apples are lightly coated.
Sprinkle Splenda and Cinnamon to taste.
Heat in microwave for 2 minutes.
Serves 4
